How do I turn off the earrape screams of VVIP characters?

I have turned voices off in my settings. set to 0 and the mark checked on "off". I still have all the ridiculously loud screams of any VVIP character. How do I turn them off? I take a setting or file removal, I don't really care. If it has to be, which files do I remove?

With Radio Messages Off, i only hear when my team throw nades. There are no others settings that you can turn off.

Yes.
But I want to turn those screams off. They are unnaturally loud.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Z8Games\CrossFire\rez\Snd2
This is where all the sound files are located, dig around until to find your character folder and delete whatever sound files you deemed unnecessary

Manipulating/changing the original files of the game is a reason for ban!

Neither did I manipulate nor did I change the files. Or is muting my game with settings also a reason for a ban? It is not my fault the devs patch in new characters and don't allocate their sound files to a volume slider.
