i think the Managers should Focus first on the game Forums. and post announcements of Events or maintenance notice first in Forums, and later at social media.
take the current wish come true Event as example. 6 Hours after the Facebook post there is no thread in the game Forum section announcement…..

We are now in open world and all have Social media accounts and it is better sometimes to see things on it before here it make some exicition till you see official announcement here . so it doesn't matter too much

You can also find it in official discord of game it is also an official communication way between game and their players. And also the announcements released here but today it has been delayed nothing else -

Anyway ,,, what was first ? The game forum or the discord ? They should stick to the forum cause every game has a forum and they should help and read forums , not this lame ass discord . -
bla bla bla. I do like the style they announce, tease and publish stuff. I agree that they should always include a forum post, but changing the social media is a nice move.
The forum post should always follow after a short period of time, max an hour later. -

I think it's okay to do posts on social networks but it's only accepted after they make it on the forum first social networks work that way not the other way around people post a teaser on social media and provide a link to check it out on the website -
