hmm .. my file says: LatestVersion = 1373

After some browsing it might be caused by your anti virus software disallowing you to update the game. Check the following thread: https://forum.z8games.com/forum/cros...nvalid+version.

My advise would be following these steps to reinstall, as described by [USER="22385461"][GM]Kanadian[/USER]:

1) Uninstall the game completely, and delete Z8Games folder from your program files folder
2) Perform system cleaning (Ex. Using CCleaner)
3) Disable your Anti-Virus real-time protection
4) Re-download the newest version of the game http://crossfire.z8games.com/download.html
5) Install the game
6) Add CrossFire and CrossFire folder to your Anti-Virus and Firewall exceptions list
7) Close all programs running in the background
8) Re-enable your Anti-Virus real-time protection

You might have forgotten to change everything that is supposed to be changed in the .ini file.
A lot of people seem to forget to fill in the correct information under "Server" and "HGW". Just changing the "Version" stuff.

(still same as befor i think .,i just dont know anymore)

PS: pls someone tell me if its the same VERSION number for u guys.
