Coupon Issue

I submitted a trouble ticket, but haven't manage to get anywhere with it. I'm putting it in here in case anybody needs the warning.

I had 200 coupons saved up to finally get my MP5 Ultimate Goldsmith. When I went to buy the gun out of the coupon shop, I had a ludicrous number of coupons (28258 of them, specifically). When I pressed the purchase button, I was informed that I have insufficient coupons, now I only have 79. I would have taken a screenshot of having the 200 if I had any idea I was about to find some sort of bug.

Any GM care to take a look please? That's a lot of coupons for me to be missing.

    First, please don’t share ticket details on this forum. Secondly, I don’t really understand your issue. Did you have 200 coupons at first, than had the bug, tried to buy the MP5 Ultimate Goldsmith and than all of sudden had 79 coupons?

    Seeing a great amount of coupons is purely a visual bug, it has been around for some time now. If you relog it should show the correct amount again. I don’t think your coupons were altered by that bug in any way.

    It could be a new bug we haven’t heard of yet, the GM’s can check for you, but considering it’s weekend you’ll probably get a reply on Monday. Hope your issue is resolved soon.

    That's correct. 200 coupons before, big surge in number temporarily, 79 at the end. If there's some sticky I missed about sharing a ticket I apologize.

    It's not really stated anywhere but just a general forum rule. I'm afraid I can't help you any further than recommending re-logging. I wouldn't spend your coupons at this time and just wait for a GM to answer your ticket on Monday.

    Just a quick update for anyone following. I was told that unless I had proof of my total coupons prior to the issue then I'm out of luck. :/ I don't think there was any interest in actually looking into the issue. Not-so-great customer service.

    It sure is odd they wouldn’t be able to view the total amount of coupon prior to the bug. They should be able to track such things in the files.
