BUT in some cases is the ISP ( internet service provider): is mess-up your version.ini file and change the line inside, just open version.ini with notepad an look inside, see what lines you have.
Here is a guide how to manually update version.ini and set for read-only so can't be changed ( of course then you need to manually update the informations after each game patch) :
