Technical issue with CF

I downloaded crossfire a few weeks ago but I havent played anything because the game crashes a lot, it happens in the loading screen I need to wait long time like 2 minutes, and then the log in appears, when I click and it isnt loaded it crashes and says the XINGCODE3 or the program that runs CF, I don't know, detects multiple clients open, and it spams the message a lot of times, I somehow got in the game, I tried to buy things and play matches but it crashes, when I enter the match it crashes and randomly crashes when I explore the crossfire main menu and other places of it, please help me fixing this issue.

As described by you, there is most likely a performance problem with your PC.

At this time (this current patch), CrossFire has a loading screen problem. It takes a lot of time in loading the first game (it freezes for about 30-40 seconds and then loads the match).

It's certain that, when you change the resolution to a different one than 1024 x 768, CrossFire takes a long time to load. That's why you should play on 1024x768.

When in lobby, in the top right corner of the screen, next to the "X" to quit the game, the options button is displayed. Within this screen the resolution can be changed.
