If you recently made changes into the operating system, check out if you have Media Feature Pack add-ons or WMP (Windows Media Player) installed on your PC. It would be nice if you could check the CrossFire soundbar on the Windows sound mixer.

It is known that players who have Windows versions KN and N, they need to install the Media Feature Pack add-on.

Remember: CrossFire sound is based on Windows Media Player. If you don't have those codecs, you won't have sound in-game, of footsteps and weapons.Option #1.

Download Media Feature Pack for N and KN versions of Windows 10. It depends on your version of Windows 10 and x86 or 64 bits. In other words, 1607, 1703, 1709, 1803, 1809, etc.

Or select "Sound Control Panel" in Related Settings under the Sound settings.
