Cant log in

i am getting this message: file is changed w I 2007 l 2 crossfire.exe
i could not uninstall i got msg: file missing....
any ides how i can fix this problem?

Uninstall Crossfire

Restart PC

Clean your pc with: Cleanner, ASC, etc. This will remove any left over file on the Z8Games folder

Restart your PC

Download a fresh Crossfire copy

Restart your PC

L[0]: It means the file is outdated. I mean, probably that file (CrossFire.exe) did not update correctly after the last update.
L[2]: It means the file does not exist or is not in the CF folder. I mean, probably that file (CrossFire.exe) does not exist in the game folder.

Unfortunately, we can't share files in the forum. It's not allowed. You need to reinstall the game. If you can't delete the game, try deleting the entire folder manually (delete all files and folders from CF) under C:\Program Files (x86)\Z8Games.

No, that's a very bad idea to take files from other people, since they can have viruses/malware/edits that can get you banned.

Generally it's not allowed to upload and share game files as no one can guarantee they haven't been tampered with.

You're probably not doing it right. If you have a strict antivirus profile, put the CrossFire folder in exclusions or exceptions from your antivirus, in-case it deletes anything when you install/update it.

Unrar that file, after copy and paste these files in the CF Folder under C:\Program Files (x86)\Z8Games\CrossFire and replace.

it got fixed...
it wasn't on my end, latest updated change my crosssfire.exe with a wrong number in version file.

It was on your end. The file was outdated. You could fix/solve the problem with the file I uploaded for you, but you didn’t even download it.

i didn't notice, i was taking break from CF
