We do have a gun in CF with double barrel set up, it's called the Snake DBR, been removed from BM sadly.

First a double 1911 and now an AR, I guess it could be useful for having two types of ammo loaded, but I think I rather have an extra magazine on me. Tramping around with the weight of one Assault Rifle a full day is enough and with more moving parts, there are more things that can go wrong.

Cool gun for the game though. Regular ammo in one magazine, AP in the other, that would be nice.
