HGW game watcher stuck at step 3

So for the last few weeks I haven't been able to load crossfire all the way like it comes up but then gets stuck at step three on the game watcher thing and the XIGNCODE3 doesn't even come up i've tried adding it to the windows firewall but its still not working i also uninstalled and reinstalled like a few times.

Ha, now it works again. I deleted the CF folder in documents which I had forgotten about, but still stuck at step 3. Did a Windows update, tried again, the patcher started and then the game worked fine again.:D:D:D:D:D

So i updated windows and still the same thing
