MENA Servers (test)
Wanted to mention that these servers are Perfect for some of the ISPs in Egypt, and some are not. , Egypt has many ISPs like , "Tedata aka 'We'" , Orange , Etisalat , Vodafone , Nour ADSL, and more, whatever the point is, the MENA Servers is kinda working with a perfect ping with only 1 ISP which is Tedata aka 'We', and about the rest of the ISPs, or not all of them, only Orange which is for me and some of my friends,, has the same ping of europe servers, i have 50 ping which i already have in europe , so thats not realistic, just wanted to mention that, for the next optimizations for the MENA servers since it is on a test run.

Its not about the provider, its more like about the distance from your place to the servers place...
Please say something useful if u are sure about. , .Because what you are saying is useless and not even logical, my friends lives next to me with Tedata's ISP with 25 ping , and im using Orange's ISP with 50 ping. its all about the new servers routing to the ISPs -

ofc it kinda depends how much mb you have, still distance matters most.

Probably because that’s true both server distance/ routing along with whatever your internet speed plays a factor. I’m not an expert but your last part should be your isp routing to the new server which is probably why your ping is high and your friends is lower. You and your friend could run a trace route in command prompt to see what’s up. Pretty much from experience the longer it takes for it to reach cf servers it makes sense for a higher ping. I use to be at 17-18 ping now 48 in NA pretty positive it’s not my isp since I have same ping in other games but welp. 25-50 ping in your case isn’t such a big issue in this game. -

speed doesnt matter........... atleast in our country, idk where are you from to say that,,, speed never matters to the ping, once i had 1mb speed 6 years ago i had 55 ping, today i have 15mb speed same ping, we all know that speed doesnt affect the ping, it affects on only 1 way, if u have a good speed, browsing and streaming wont affect ur ping that much, thats all, but it doesnt mean if u get higher speed u get better ping yikes, still saying again ; atleast in our country . -

the speed doesnt matter in our country, ping doesnt affect with the speed changes, its about the line quality, whatever its 3rd world issues, and you are right about the routing, i dont know what should i do about that, should we both me and my friend do that trace routing and what then?, i can change my routing? i dont understand these things not an expert,, but i think its not about me. its about the new servers routing they can change some things with new updates which supports my ISP routing i guess thats it. -

Speed does play a factor no matter no matter where you live since network latency plays a factor in your ping.
For ping the game server run the game, open task manager, performance tab and look down for resource monitor. Once you in there look for a network tab, under there you'll see a list and look for crossfire.exe and then there should be a PID number for cf has its own tab. Then open command prompt as admin rune netstat -o and a list of ip addresses will start to appear with ip addresses look at the PID section only and wait for the PID number tat corresponds to crossfire that you found using task manager. Once you found it in command prompt just type ping followed by the ip address you got from the list. You'll send some packets and look at the ms part the greater the ms will mean the greater the ping, if some packets are loss that means there's some connection problems. If you have similar speed as your friend it could be that you're having to go through a bit more hops to connect to the game servers than your friend which is common here with cheap third party isp providers.
It's why I'm saying speed also plays a factor, how you get lower ms is determined by the speed package you have with your isp and your internet line connection. Good luck -

i know its a big factor and u are true but trust me here in egypt it doesnt matter, they dont even support online gaming and the thing it self called "ping" they dont know what is ping brother, we suffer here, trust me im 100% sure about what im saying, here in egypt , the speed doesnt matter unless its verylow speed i will lag ofc, but the thing is i wont lag if the speed can run crossfire with out stutters, its some governmental issues, and yea thanks i willl check what u ve said about the ip adress -

alright so i did that , and i found 3 PIDS with the same PID in the task manager,, and i took the address to test my ping, i found that theres an IP has 40~50 ping with 0 packets lost, and the other IP has 0~10 ping with 0 packets?! so i guess thats the IP i should be using for crossfire what can i do now?

Assuming you did no mistakes compare the time = x ms in your post you did 5/6s I’m guessing that’s your result and not your friends!. If so then all you can do is switch to your friends isp because at the end of the day could go both ways either z8 does something on their end and if they do most likely your ping might not improve. At the end of the day I just thought running a ping both on your pc via your internet provider and your friends provider might help show you that you have higher ping because this for certain you require more hops connecting to the game than your friend. Easiest way to example it is say you book a trip and so did your friend but your plane has more stops on your way to your destination than your friends. Your plane stops is the hops required before you reach your destination in this case game servers.
One possible fix is switch to your friends provider that might solve it and if it doesn’t you might and it’s probably true have some issues in your line. Whether you connect to the internet through cable or dsl. If it’s not too much hassle switch to your friends provider and see how it goes.
Again you ping to the game server just helps to show your ping and how long the packets that are sent took hope you didn’t think that would fix your ping issues. Good luck
i hope you not connecting to the game through wifi I’m assuming you’re not lmao -

So its not my issue, since pinging to the game is 5/6 ms, yeah thats mine not my friend xD, and im connecting via dsl cable not wifi, and the idea to switch my ISP is damn bad in my country cuz it takes too long to switch to another ISP about a month or something, i wont do that because my ISP and my line quality is better than most of the users here in egypt, playing fortnite with 30~40 ms which is damn rare here. so yeah i hope its a server issue not mine, if z8 improved the server im pretty sure i will get a 10~15 ping i hope so. thanks for helping btw[ -
