1 day vip weapon for every 30 minutes and for a maximum of 7 days per one would be better.

It's an okay event when they make it at the same time as other events. You at least get some extra XP. I haven't tried the Predator yet, so that is a bonus too. I am very happy I stopped playing ranked, as it wasn't fun the last time they held an event like this, and you kept meeting teams of 5 VVIP Barrets that all shoot at you at the same time.

I personally think that they offer this kind of event every once a while as a marketing tool. They provide every active non-VIP player to get their hands on VIP guns for 1 day so they probably buy it and it's also for the VIP players who want to buy more VIP weapons and trying out those weapons for 1 day is good way to promote their products otherwise there is no way to lure players to buy VIP guns through billboards or TV advertisements.
