Game Crashing Every Time

Hi admins i just got back into crossfire and when i try to join a game it crashes at 45% loading!Also when i start the game sometimes it is starting in the corner of my screen and i can't see anything!Also it really changes resolutions randomly!I can't play even the tutorial!

Try running the game with troubleshooter, i got that bug every time i installed the game.

Game crashing normally happens when your antivirus program (and windows defender) do something about the files while you are playing.

Add CF in the antivirus's exception list and you should be fine.

Add Crossfire to your exception list (or do-not-disturb list), both Windows defender and Antivirus software, so that they won't touch the files whiles you are playing. The game crashes when you play and the defence systems check CF files for threat. If you might notice, the game usually crashes when it lasts long. This is because possibility of CF files being checked is larger when it lasts longer.

It works for many people, surely it'll work with you.

Yep just did that and it's still crashing!!!

if your antivirus software is free then I rekon you should uninstall it (windows defender is very effective at detecting basic threats anyway).

It may work, I don't garantee anything.

you can try what you want and you will not fix.The problem is from the game system.Crossfire have now alot of bugs.Fps drop to.Lagg sho.They don t want to fix the problems anyway.
