Freezing and occasional kicks

I am currently having issues with Crossfire NA where the game randomly freezes and the only way I can stop it from freezing my screen is opening up task manager then retabbing back to Crossfire. The freezes are normal screen freezes but I can still move around and hear sounds such as me switching weapons. The cause is unknown but it happens every game around twice or more. I've tried ending all sorts of background processes but nothing seems to work. No error messages pop up from it freezing and I have never crashed from it.

Another problem is that I randomly start having some "fake ping"-type lag where I can move but everyone else is standing still and then suddenly I get kicked from the lobby and placed in the server choosing screen. Any recommendation will help. I'm on Windows 10 and my GPU is Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB. I am not sure what background processes are allowed to run whilst Crossfire is running so it would be nice if someone could list them off so I can make sure I don't have any of those programs.
