Cursor offset making the game unplayable

Just installed the game on my laptop, problem is, the mouse is always much lower than what I'm pointing at in the menus.
Meaning that if I wanna click on the Item shop for example, I'd have to put my mouse somewhere under the "Shop" button on the room/channel selection.
I'm running a gtx 1060 and a 3240x2160 resolution, but I already tried to set it to 1920x1080 manually, force stretching/black bars etc and nothing has worked so far. Also I already tried reinstalling.

Is there anything else I can do?

After days of trying, as soon as I made the thread I found something that works.
If anyone else ever has the same problem, here's what causes it:

For some reason CF only scales the image up when using windows scaling function with a high resolution display, everything "below it", meaning boxes to click, stays the small size. The solution is to setthe Image scaling to 100% every time you wanna play the game.

You got to this before I could answer, but I've actually never seen this problem or solution before. Thanks for figuring this out ahead of others having it as well
