Does rank and stat and pretty much everything else reset to 0 once the next season comes out?
And also is it worth to play now when it's preseason or just wait untill the next season comes out?
Do we get anything from it?

if you have a high rank in preseason you will get a high level rank in after your first 5 games in mainseason.

Yes these points will remain, the M4 can be obtained during the next season.
