Mouse jump/lag!

Iv'e went on EVERY POSSIBLE forum that has solutions for this mouse lag/jump. But none of them work for me! I unplugged my mouse, blew on it, plugged it back in and restarted my computer, and look at that it stopped lagging...for the first 10 seconds i was in that game...it lags in the lobby, in a game, EVERYWHERE in crossfire. Other games work just fine. I shut down EVERY other program that's running before i play CF. Still jumps. Frankly, this is really getting on my nerves!! Anyone have a fix?? Pleasee....
