Hacking in game...again.
During this last update, I happened to notice your new motto "What belongs together, grows together", which is a complete redundancy of what I've been seeing in game for just about a decade now. I actually started playing on an account that has been deactivated, since 2008...because I couldn't stand the hacking.
Here it is...10 years later with the same garbage, third-party, watch dog program that has been in place for about the same amount of time, XIGNCODE.
With the amount of revenue that CF generates annually, there is absolutely NO excuse as why a program that actively monitors for suspicious activity cannot be implemented in this game.
I, along with many others who are affected by hacking, are noticing a staggering increase in the number of people cheating in game. This isn't acceptable to us, and it shouldn't be acceptable to CF Devs either.
I've been asking for a deacde for something to be done....I'm not asking anymore. There are people who pay for your service...your job is to provide that service, unfettered access to a playable enviornment.
This community demands that you make it happen!! DO IT!!

Great...I decided to look in on the game after a long hiatus because of the hacking...it looks like the same-old-same-old. Sigh. I put in, at one time, over two hundred hacker reporting forms...I got one response back. That's customer service for you.

i switched to cf eu because of that reason, and there were actually no hackers.. don't know why it is so hard for smilegate to use a hackprotection that actually works... i understand that it doesn't matter how good it is, that there willl always be someone who will go past the system and hacks, but if the protection would be good enough, there would be less hackers and the hack report wouldn't be that overloaded..

For those that have stuck around, I think we can attest to the fact that there's been great progress with the hacking situation. For a long time, I was running into hackers just way too often. It's gone down to the point where I haven't meet a single hacker for maybe a week now, although I am just one sample of a larger population, so take that for what you will.
I agree that in theory a better hack protection would be the solution, but as I understand it the game engine for Crossfire is the real culprit here. Someone who knows about gaming would be better at explaining this, so I'll just leave it at that.
Also, just a quick reminder to please this thread civil (so that it doesn't get closed). You guys are absolutely allowed to vent your frustration and give constructive suggestions, but there should not be 1) insults/arguments, 2) poor behavior in general, and 3) any other content that breaks the forum rules. -

The truth is that the CEO of Z8Games has absolutely no clue on how to manage a multi millionaire dollar business, there is so much he could do to save this business. -
I've been doing some research in the Crossfire community and I've learned that these people are actually not hacking. These are slightly more advanced movements integrated into the game mechanics. Some of these involve flying, going through walls and from-the-other-side-of-the-map stabbing. I think you should learn before commenting on these forums. There are innocent people that might get banned because of you. Yikes people, yikes.
