1st i updated the game . then game watcher stuck on step 3 , i restarted my PC the game opend and there is a note saying ( Failed to connect to server )

I have the same thing, I uninstalled cf and installed one more time and problem didn't solve.

last night it was all excelent

Update : i uninstall the game and reinstall it from the same file i had and after patcher finished i press play and stuck in step 3 again.
downloading the game now ... from begining
