Can't launch Crossfire

After HGWC opens and gets to step 13, it closes itself and the game doesn't open.

    Anyway you should check next steps:

    1. Your game location MUST be added to antivirus and firewall exceptions, but if you are using avast - must completly uninstall avast, restart pc, because avast keep bloking files even you add to exceptions later - after game work you can install back and add game to exceptions list

    2. Close any other running programms ( skype, torrent clients .. etc)

    3. Reset game preferences manually: go to My Documents\Cross Fire - select all files with .dat extension and delete them - will reset all game preferences to default

    4. Start game as administrator and compatibility mode windows 7

    1.) I don't have an anti-virus, even windows defender is off

    2.) I closed skype, I don't have any other programs that would interfere open

    Anyone else have any ideas? it only happens after hgwc step 13
