It's Your choice... IE its junk. But everyone have own opinion.
What if CF would not run without uninstalling MS Word 95? You say it's junk, but SO WHAT?
If you buy new TV you are not forced to get rid of your cupboard. CF should have nothing to do with IE. If it does, it's lame.
CF is junk, not IE !! -
Crap as it is, I still need it for my work with some web hosting management websites. Those sites only work properly in IE.
So, IE pays for lunch, whereas CF has stupid patches released on friday evening, making lots of people unhappy. Guess which one is going down! -

So, I went digging alittle more and see in the version.ini file 2 servers:
[SERVER]
COUNT = 1
IP1 =74.200.6.133
PORT1 =13008
[HGW]
PORT=16666
SERVER1=74.200.6.161
I did a netstat and see that I am connected to the HGW server with no issues. But I can't ping the other IP. So I loaded up nmap and tried to see if the system was in fact dead and it is. I loaded up my VMWare Linux server that is using openDNS servers and I still cant get to it.
So what is the IP everyone else is using to connect? Can anyone else ping the 133 server? -
In this moment if You have a problem with xtrap-engine You can use only Internet Explorer 6 (+all updates if You need) no higher...

Hm I don't use English Windows but if You downgrade Your Internet Explorer to version 6 xtrap-engine should start work.user deleted wrote:nikon what button is on the side?

j'avais ce prob a cause de la mise a jour du patch crossfire avec ce fameux xtrap j'ai cherché et cherché depui hier et enfin ces reparti=) le problemes est a cause d'internet explorer 8 donc ce que j'ai fait;j'ai désinstallé cross fire dans ajout/supression des programme puis désinstallé internet explorer 8 et enfin retélécharger une copie de cross fire sur le site officiel "Cross Fire – Free 2 Play Military Shooter" puis a coté de la vidéo a droite y a en grand rectangle avec ecrit "join now play for free" cliqué dessu vous arriverai sur la page d'inscription ,"deja inscrit", alor au dessus il y a download metté le curseur dessu et choisissez crossfire puis
dans official downloads choisissez le mirror 1 installez et puis lancez le jeux et tt devrai etre niquel pour moi ca a fonctionner au poil et j'ai deja jouer 2 petite heure sans interuption allé bon jeux on ce croisera surement ...................smookeur ta fumé Xtrap =-~
est ce que sa marcherais avec firefox -
this solution can work for some people but not to everyone it's as simple as this so do not try it by thinking it will 100% sure work cuz it is not 100% sure it is the problem just wait for z8 and X-trap to find the solution

OK so ive read all of this and it seems like a 50/50 chance-ish of working ..... IM not going to spend my time uninstalling IE ..... this happend today on not my not normal playing computer. i played on it on tuesday and no problems ... sooooo what now.
