Dragunov question...

My first question is if the Dragunov is really a one hit sniper rifle (to the chest). My second question, is it really worth the 55,000GP?

Dragunov is Skill wEaPoN ( When ýou can good shot with him ) ,
M700 is standart weapon ( lol )
AWM is noob weapon he hit overall , and kill ( then buy you PSG-1 or Dragunov is best weapons!

I find that 9.3/10 of the shots are 1 hit kill.

One shot kill from middle range forward, cool to have but not worth it if u dont got zp. Btw Awm not noob cannon still needs skills to aim fast and shoot before some gets u first.

It's one hit kill to the stomach, and like 90-99 to the chest. I don't know how distance affects this. If your looking to get a sniper rifle, just get the AWM. It takes less skill than the Drag, but you still have to work for your kills. I wish they made the Drag a little better though. Its a lot cooler than the AWM IMO. Then again, I won a sniper match against an LT using AWM with a Drag.

The Dragunov requires a lot and I mean a lot of skill to use. It shoots much faster than the AWM and reloads a lot quicker, but it's less accurate and has a nasty tendency to do 99 damage which really annoys the shooter. -.-` For an extra 1000GP you can get an AWM which is well worth it unlike the Dragunov.

Dragonov is a 1 hit kill to the stomack and sometimes chest.
It has a faster reload than AWM.
Quicker draw out than AWM.
Quicker shooting than AWM.
Better for no scoping.
The only thing where AWM beats it is at accuracy at long range and if your not a good stomack aimer you will get anoyyed when you do 99 damage and 95.

dragunov is good for tdm's because it does 90-99 dmg alot i suggest you use if your a tdm person like on egypt where erery1 is bound to get hit by a grenade, if you do use this in s&D do not move from spawn until 45 seconds has gone by then some people are hit up from nades/gunfire, this is a great tactic that i use with my m700.

I completely agree.

While the dragunov isn't bad, spending an extra 1,000gp for an AWM is much more worth it.

And btw, the AWM is not a noob cannon. Yes, it is a one-hit kill in most places, but living off that will only get you a kdr of 1. If you really want to do well with this gun, you need to spend time learning the skills and practising, just as you would do with any other gun.

I agree,every gun requires some skill. Like,ive seen one trainee running around using it as a shotgun in alaska >.< . Lower the price of dragunov to 45k,and there will be alot more in the game.

i use awm but whenever i see a dragunov on the floor i will most of the time pick it up. it is lighter faster and i think looks cooler than awm. its like a uzi, for fun.

prefer psg, its ok but the damage is kinda annoying at times.
