Low XP gain with VIP

Hi, i don't know if this is occurring for anyone else but i have Two VIP weapons in my Bag one. Before when playing a mode like HMX, after getting over 100 kills i would be awarded about 4000xp roughly. Just finished playing tonight and after the same performance i was barely scratching 1000xp from games like that. Was wondering if there is a bug occurring right now. Thanks!
