Smoke Goggles Issue

I remember playing on windows 7, smoke goggles would do wonders with smoke.. Now that I have windows 10, smoke goggles make literally no difference to smoke.. I was wondering if anyone figured out how to make smoke goggles work on windows 10.. I've tried running cf in different compatability modes, and downscaling color bits and all, nothing has worked.. Help fix pls?

i felt the same yesterday when i used smoke protection with viper but before that i used to play with L A Swat and it has skill so it was like there is no smoke

You would have to figure out how to force CF into 16bit on Windows10
