You should focus more on short-term goals instead of recruiting players who will be supposedly active after 6 months.

Imo find a team/make one and play the weekly cups EGL /pugs or w/e and see where that leads you.

I have been a competitive player for 2+ years constantly and never was I in a team that kept the exact same line up for more than 4 months.

Eventually you find players that your gameplays/chemistry match and as time goes by you won’t have to change entire rosters but just 1 player every 3-4 months and that is usually due to inactivity / real life commitments.
