about the Halloween costume contest

Under the In-Game rules it says:

"-You must own the item.
(edit: this is to avoid people using shop items inthe actual shop
You can however:

-Borrow weapons from friends/Bots, (ex. They drop a gun at your feet.)
-Wear Temporary items
-Use mode related items (Wave Mode items/Rage sheep etc.)

-The photo must not be taken in the item-shop, please make a nice composition in one of our maps and take a screenshot
-No photo-shopping or editing into your photos.
-No plagiarism or stolen images."

Does this mean we can or we can't use borrowed weapons?

You can use weapons borrowed from players. The reason a lot of players are confused is because they want you to make sure to take the pictures in the actual game, not in the item shop.

I think owning items refers to ITEMS and not weapons, so yes you can borrow weapons.

Basically, we just wanted to make sure it was in-match screenshots. Not some guy in the item shop trying on new clothes he doesn't actually have :P
