From what I heard, you need to find the file called "patcher_cf" in the CrossFire Folder and run it as Admin.

See if that works.

the game still doesn't work . this problem occur after today patch .

try by deleting backup folder and updating the game as admin

lol.... after updating the game, we lose our charchters and get errors .
we have " faild to download patch file" error now .

Try to reset your router so you get a new IP. Then run CF as Admin.
