my mic isn't working.

I downloaded ventrilo and I have a unused mic. People told me they couldn't hear me. I tested my mic and it works. I did sound recorder and i heard what i recorded. I hold the talk button and they still can't hear me. any help?

    If your having Windows Vista / Windows 7, run Ventrilo as Administator.
    Use something like the the left Alt key, otherwise it will interfere with Crossfire. (e.g. when you'd use the left shift key, thats walking in crossfire and when you start crossfire after ventrilo, Crossfire overwrites your Ventrilo keyboard settings and you can just use the Crossfire keys)

    so u have to restart the game lol?
