"webget request failed" during download game via official downloader?

I downloaded the game's downloader off the website. It downloaded for a bit then it started frequently pausing with "Webget request failed" then after awhile it continues to download. I've never encountered this error before and i was wondering how to fix it. Noting that i terminated my antivirus.
