[Video] Just a bit of my daily routine in CF

[size=+2] Hello forum! :D
Community is so small now but i decided to come back ( more like, start fresh ) on the content creation.
Ignore the other videos in the channel as they were made long ago and lack quality.
Lemme know what you think and i'd also like some tips from other content creators!

  • Heya,

Be sure to post your Stuff in the CrossFire Fanwork section next time. http://forum.z8games.com/forumdisplay.php?39-Fan-Works

As for the Video itself, I find it alright. I'm not much of a Video Content Creator however, I don't have much to offer tipwise. I'm sure someone else will gladly hand over a few company secrets.

Thank you! I thought this was the right place, learnt my lesson ^^
Thanks for the feedback as well :D
  • i like the gameplay and how you play GM, safe in risky positions.
editing wise you might wanna do a bit more stuff here and there, add a little spice to the video, also most of these videos are using the same kind of alternative rock music, maybe swing a little further than that.
  • Moved to Fan works.

I feel like a short video like this deserves a little more editing, not just slow-mo/speed up
  • Thanks for all your tips, will keep that in mind for any videos in the future! :D
Regarding the music, what styles would u thing fitting for cf videos? I have a big (and i mean reeaaally big) library of songs I can use ^_^
About the edit, was simple and short because it was my first time using this version of vegas pro
Also, is there any suggestions for less frame "eating" recording software? I'm using fraps 60FPS Half-size, 1024x720 resolution in-game but i don't have enough stability with it ( it stays near 60 but it's really unstable in-game)
    Thanks once more :D

I tend to think rock and electro/dance works pretty well with FPS games-based videos.
Vegas takes time to get used to, but it's a pretty great software that can let you do so many different things, it just has bugs sometimes.

Regarding video capture, if you don't like fraps, you can try OBS studio. It's mostly used for streaming, but it can record just as well and doesn't seem to take that much of a toll on your frame rate.

luckily those two are my favourite types of music :D
It's just that this version had shortcuts i kept missclicking so ijust kept it simple, will work harder next time though
I do have OBS installed for quite some time now, will try to record with it and compare quality / stability / frame drop, thanks!
  • i can assure you that you won't notice any different in your frames if you use OBS to record, it barely does anything.
the quality is fine, if you like the quality fraps provides you and hate the FPS drops just get an external drive and record on it, it'll be easier, and no frame drops whatsoever.
also look up one of those free music for videos websites, they're somewhat unique :)
