Main menu resolution not correct
Hi,
I'm having this problem in the main menu where it puts itself in a whole different resolution than I specified in my options (1024x768).
If I change my resolution back to 1600x900 in the Windows settings, then this happens:
It works just fine on my desktop PC. So, the problem here is that when I'm in the main menu, Crossfire sets my Windows resolution to 1024x768 while it should stay on 1600x900. And before anyone tells me that I have to set it in my options: I did!
Can anyone assist me to solve this issue?

Have you tried to change the settings to "Default" and then setting it back to "1600x900".
Tried and it doesn't seem to work. I click 'default' and it sets my resolution to 1920x1080, I then changed it to 1600x900 but the main menu resolution doesn't actually change.RiceTurtle wrote: »Another thought: I sometimes have this issue as well and after I join a game (and during the loading screen) the resolution fixes itself. Yeah, the game itself plays in the correct resolution. It's just in the main menu and such that it sets the resolution to 1024x768. -

Oh, I'm not sure then. This only happens to me about once a month so I don't have a better solution. For me, after I join a game, the main menu is fine, too. Sorry, I can't help more. -

It probably would be wise to know that the Main Menu Resolution is 1024x768 maximum.
The Resolution slider only affects the resolution in-game, the Menus itself still run at the 1024x768 resolution.
So, basically, this is just how the game works.
You'll either have to play in windowed mode to keep your desktop resolution, or will have to deal with having a 1024x768 resolution while in the menus. -

If I change it to windowed mode, the game itself plays in windowed mode as well. It's just annoying since it has these two black borders on the side (which isn't the case on my desktop) and when I tab to check my email or something, it's huge af.

I have nvidia GPU video card, desktop rez: 1980x1080 and game rez 1024x768 full screen (but any other game rez up to full hd work on full screen all time)
So go check those settings for Nvidia Control Pannel:
1. 3D Settings -> Set PhyX configuration : select your GPU type (default is auto) and apply
2. Display -> Adjust Desktop Size and Position : check full screen option (default is aspect ratio) and Perform scalling on: GPU - click apply
For AMD GPU or intel GPU must have some driver settings equivalent at least for desktop size and position - some settings for aspect ratio - choose full screen.
P.S. You are under windows 10 - so right click on CF shortcut -> Properties -> Compatibility and check Run this program as Administrator , apply (i also check run this program in compatibility mode Windows 7)
Nothing changes. I'll just have to deal with the fact that 1024x768 looks like that on my laptop. Anyway, can I somehow have the main menu windowed and IG on 1600x900?
