i use to play crossfire on my laptop now it won't let me when i load a game it says 'error: couldn't set to 800x600x32 shutting down i tried changing the screen resolution from the crossfire game itself but crossfire settings dont change from 1920x1080...my laptop window 7 is 1366x768 but when i change crossfire setting into that it says saved successfully but crossfire resolution goes back on 1920x1080 ;S can you please help me

Heya, let me try and help you out.

If your Resolutions refuses to change In-Game, navigate to your "System.dat" File located in your Screenshot folder which is located at "Documents/CrossFire"

Open it with your Text Editor of choice, and replace the VERY FIRST NUMBER which should be a 9 (If it's not, no harm done.) to a "5".

yeah it's still not working don't let me change the screen resolution on the game after i changed the top number to 5 i don't understand the numbers i got is different to the screenshot you sent?
