CrossFire Killcam
I honestly think that CrossFire needs one. Maybe one similar to the Call of Duty one. There's so many times that I hear people accusing another of hacking. Well, if they seen it through the other persons view, they would have a much better idea. I think it will stop the most of the nagging back and forth between players.
Sometimes there is no respawn time and in this case, the person can choose whether or not they want Killcam on.
I think this will really help crack down on who's hacking and who's not.
Yay or Nay?

Thats one HELL of an idea!
YAY! YES! OUI! JA SÌ! WHATEVER!!! That would be gr8! it would really help determine whos hacking, so the whining would be down like 80%. Mods, GM's, KILLCAM=BEST IDEA!!!
thank you very much, snake.

No, would make it very unfair for clan wars in particular when you can see where your opponent is and report him to the rest of your team. Also, when you respawn it allows you to easily find that hidden camper.
maybe it will only be on Pubs then.... -
i think this would be awesome.... and do you not think that if you were killed anyway that they would tell over vent or clan chat?
besides when you die anyway you can see what direction they run off in anyway... i think this is a god idea but may have already been suggested -
Yes, we really need something to curb all of these false accusers. I'm tired of kicked for simply being better than the other players. Its like knowing the game mechanics is against the rules. My kill/death ration would be so much better if I didn't get kicked every time I got a high score which is like 2/3 games for me.Snakeplisskn wrote: »I honestly think that CrossFire needs one. well said this would indeed help to see if they were hacking.... cf does need one -
Glad some people like the idea of it. Of course its gonna need tweaking. Like when we should use killcam and such. We need something like it. It doesnt help when you think someone is hacking, then go through the whole replay to just find out they were getting lucky shots.
Hopefully they might be working on something like that. -
gbg112, I was thinking the same thing. Have the killcam just focus on the person killing, and no one else around. That way other persons positions aren't being given up. I'm sure with enough feedback and opinions, it might work.
And camping is only affective for a few seconds anyways. Someones bound to see you before the person respawns and gets to you. -
it would be set whether kill cam is on in that game, so in a clan game everyone will know whether it is there or not and everyone has the same advantage/disadvantage
and i wouldn't mind it either in clan matches because there was one clan that was very suspicious of hacking, like shooting threw smoke nades and wood without any of my team walking out -
Yeah, I was gonna pay 9USD for some ZP but forget it, its not worth it. Even with the new hack system, I've had aimbotters (spinning from left to right, perfect 360) a few people following me through the walls (seen in replay). They're not gonna stop either. Unless they start blocking IP addresses. Then not just anybody can make a new account. Just block their IP for a week. They do it again, block them 2 weeks. Again, and they're gone, sol.

yay that would be nice -
I normaly think when a person tries to make a game more like CoD, that person is stupid.
However you supported your opinion, and swayed me. A kill cam would really make GM a lot less emotionally painful, when you cap a ghost who insists it was impossible for you to find him.
And as a person who plays CoD, I can say that overcomeing the killcam is incredably easy.
I played exculsivly as a sniper.
All I had to do was-
stay scoped in for another 4 seconds after killing someone
not shoot until my target has been on my screen 3 seconds(not always an option)
and most importantly, DONT CAMP.
lol good suggestion, hope the powers that be are listening. -

you find out where he is anyway becuase after you die, the camera goes right to where the bullets came from, right?
killcam is a great idea, but would require a lot of work
and why wouldnt you want to make the game more like cod? -
CoD shouldn't be the end all be all gold standard to shooting games.
For one it would stifle innovation. For another it would get incredably boring to play the same game over again and over again.
Every time a new shooter is made, it is immediatly compared to CoD. That by itself isn't a problem. But right after that, people make the mistake of thinking every thing the game does DIFFERENTLY than CoD is done WRONG. Which simply isn't true. -

Because COD is not the world's only first person shooter and Crossfire is more unique than it.
