I honestly have to say...that starting with my Quest post, Presets post, and Ending with Kanadian's post...that has to be among the top awesome post exchanges that have ever happened here.
also good to hear. here's to hoping I can qualify for this ribbon and come another step closer to owning more ribbons...oh and a shovel and deagle too of course. -

Yea I thought so. I was going to say that, I bet this ribbon was mainly designed for the Moderators and Game Masters. Us normal players will have no chance, unless given by a miracle. xP -

If you have an issue with one of our MODs, you are always welcome to send a ticket referencing specific issues with that MOD and why you feel they aren't doing as well as they could be. You know this. Luckily for some, you will not be picking who gets the ribbon, or nobody would be getting it :P -

So basically (in the short form) this new ribbon is for ass kissing mini mods
What's about people that their main forum account got permed 2 years ago and today they're completely clean? (like me) :P

@ GM Kanadian - What we mean was that MOD's and other game Staff (who deserve it anyway) are probably the only ones who will get this Samaritan ribbon, everyone else pretty much has no chance. Hope that's clearer. -

IMO: This ribbon was made for TEASING us normal players. :P
I.E: I have like half a dozen infractions mainly from bypassing censorship ect (nothing too bad). Though I am sure I won't qualify for this ribbon, it's like having to apply for a new sophisticated occupation and my past records won't let me get the job. X'D
We really hope 'normal' helpful players have a chance. -

To be fair, I'm sure they'll leave the past in the past where it belongs and allow players to start afresh to keep things fair for everyone, even though it will be brought back up if and when needed. People make mistakes, we're only human. I am pretty sure it would be really unfair if they didn't give others a second chance.. -

No need to explain anything dear, he would misunderstand it anyway. I made my point clear, but he's probably gonna take that wrong again too, so I don't really bother about the fact that he keeps trying hard to make me look as bad as possible...Having a ribbon to be nice and all that and having the game the way it is right now, ehh, kind of hard.

So aside from the obvious, can a MOD or GM actually explain how the ribbon is obtained? If it's supposed to be some mysterious unknown, then just be honest about it. For example, if it's based on GM judgement. As in, you only get it if a GM personally finds you helpful on the forum. Just tell us. We might find it unfair because this would show favoritism, but at least then you may find a lot less random insults being thrown around on the forum and a lot more helpfulness.

These are pretty much my thoughts about this, but hey, can't help it. Anyway, they said there would be an announcement soon. -

You need to be active, helpfull and keep your insults for youself, pretty much this.

Idk anything about this ribbon, but I don't think they'll make a ribbon just for staff.
