They will announce? They didnt when season 1 ended, lol.
Because they know that as soon as people get it into their heads that they'll announce when the Season ends and the date draws near, ONLY then will players actually start and play to get the Gold Rank Minimum.
So that feeling of uncertainty is pretty much the only way to keep ranked mode alive at the early stages. -

Wiki is ran by players. Dont trust on it :P.They wont announce it. According to the wiki this season should have already ended. So like usual, they are late. -
sucks for me since im a silver 6 because of those stupid hacks. But even if i try to play rank it says i cant or there aren't any player playing. If i do get one i have a good feeling ill be paired up with trash idiots that dont event know how to play w/ 300+ pings

I rather give it some time so the people in charge can figure something out to combat those issue in rank mode. 1. it will be alive again, especially if they add a new event that includes crates(which i'm sure they will do) 2. hackers that were reported from last season are most likely banned, which means there really isn't much left.

I understand the sentiment, but the simple truth is that in reality, things happening in the game such as updates / events and even Rank seasons are planned ahead and happened on a pre-dertermined schedule. They don't come or end any sooner just because some of the players want them to.
a simple example would be the releases of VIP weapons. They don't come any sooner just because we want them to.
Anyway, back to the topic at hand, I honestly think we're nowhere near the end of this second season, given season 1 lasted roughly 7 months as well (Dec 2015 to June 2016). -
I read that in the official CF Wiki this Season was suppose to end in 2 months from it's release. IDK if it was just post-poned by this months Games Event and VIP release or if it was only 2 months duration for privileged CF versions like the Asian versions.
We will soon find out, I'll give it a couple weeks, if we don't get it, then I guess it will be the full 6 months which means we got at least around 3-4 more months to go (sadly). -

Honestly, I'd rather see them improve the Mode rather than try and bribe us to play the Mode through rewards.
If you need rewards to hook players, then there is something fundamentally wrong with the Mode.
The mode is almost perfectly fine, what is not fine is our savage/abusive community using hacks to get themselves in the Top 100.
I think if there were to be changes, what needs to be done is either have the KICK VOTE SYSTEM (KVS) added and with the OPTION of searching games with it ON or OFF (players responsibility for taking their own decision), that way players who hate playing with KVS for being afraid of getting kicked can continue to enjoy the games without KVS and those who are more afraid of cheaters could join KVS games in Ranked Matches.
On the other hand we could just having our X-Trap further upgraded.
Z8 could re-consider these idea's for improvements. -

I would still like to see season 3 with a KVS. (easiest way) So we can enjoy our gameplay with no hackers. -
KVS is easily abused by all sorts of players, and imo it should stay out of ranked matches.
But the idea of players from community "undercover patroling" ranked games, which was already suggested multiple times, sounds much better to me.
Z8 picks like 10 relatively active, experienced, veteranish players from NA region, and 10 from UK(EU) region. Reports sent by those players would get rewieved before the others.
Atleast try it. If it doesn't work as intended, just forget about it and come up with something better.ž

Also, please find a way to stop people from abusing bugs in RM. Because 99.32% (147 "wins" 1 defeat with 1.5 kills per game xd) win rate doesn't sound legit to me.
Most of those 95%+ are all from the same clan. And that clan is... urgh -
So those people basically have direct contact with gm(s)?
