Cf fail to load after update

Hey guys, im wondering if anyone else has the load problem after installing the patch.

The patcher and HGWC are fine, but the actual screen isnt opening up. It sent a notification about CF Client has problems because of something in my local temp folder.

Im also getting an HGWC notification saying "Timed out waiting for initialing xtrap-engine"

I've never heard of that error before. have u tried reinstalling the game?

No, but im still waiting to see if there is a quicker fix. CF takes 2 hours to install

Ive got another question. If I delete the files in the CF folder with the Fire in the Hole wav sound files, or the bomb planted sound files, will my FPS be higher? I dont play with sound anyway so dont see why I need them. Or will deleting those files corrupt my game?

I just read the CF announcements, and if you have EVER changed a file in your folders, you will get errors starting TODAY! only thing you can do is reinstall CF.

Still doesnt work...Why does Z8 have to keep constantly updating.....

Im gonna uninstall IOBit Advanced System Care as ive heard it causes xtrap problems.

Turn off your firewall aswell and see if that helps

I see that it is ON in control panel but there isnt a way for me to turn it off.

Yoooooo, what the heck man! It was working perfectly fine yesterday...

Im assuming im not getting much help because i dont spend more than 8 bucks every 6 months on this game. Sigh

I know someone out there is experiencing the same problem, could you speak up and maybe we can solve this together.

FYI my computer is a 1996 with 17 GB of free space left, I average around 30 fps on a good day. Around 15-20 on first couple games.

Im running a DELL Desktop.

Do you by chance have any Razer programs installed? X-Trap isn't fond of Synapse, for example. VPN's can also cause issues, as can macro programs, some screen recording programs, etc.

What operating system are you running, and can you give us a screenshot here of your processes?

I have Razer stuff and Xtrap doesn't mess with it. ^

Some of them have caused a few issues in the past, but you're right not all of them do.
