Ping Issues

So yesterday everyone was ping spiking heavily going continuously up and down up and down and now today my ping is a steady 45 which its not supposed to be. My normal ping is 33-36, also a lot of my team members as well as clan members have gotten heightened ping since yesterdays flux. Whatever was happening yesterday with the servers is directly effecting what is happening now. So I would like to know what is being done to fix the heightened ping issue (not the first time this has happened)
