Crossfire ADvertising (finally)

After all this years(an add back in 2009 got me to try the game in the first place) I finally see ads again.This particular one is for the EU version (wait for it) since I'm in Europe (well duh) BUT Z8games took over cfeu so most likely this type of add(same graphics or maybe changed) redirects to cfna if seen from North America I guess.It's good to see the good old advertising back now let's see if it pays off.

Lol I got introduced to this game from an ad too, but then quit, and then got introduced to it again from a friend irl, and went on from there. (I think I was on megaupload.com, that 1 popular file hosting site that got shut down)
I still remember the legacy of the Scar Light

And I forgot to mention that everyday I see a post from CF on my Facebook feed. It says 'Sponsored.' Not sure if it's just because I like the page, like their posts and all that. But I always see it sponsored.
EDIT: Talking about it, I open my Facebook, and it's right there. Lol.

I remember when Moe (I think it was him) made a thread about those Cards in Egypt. Then Juiceb0x (I think) posted cards from the US too, and this:
It's on top, and as you can see, it has 'Ad.' So we have the game being advertised in 3 ways. Facebook, Google, and those Cards that give those extra weapons in BestBuy and that other shop that I forgot the name. I'm not sure if they have Ads on Twitter or any other social media. -

I wouldn't know, Adblock installed and I don't look at ads anyway, so I may have passed by it at some point.

I was browsing YouTube in 2009 when I saw an advert of the SPOP character wearing Halloween makeup asking people to join CF. I originally did look at the game but never gave it much thought. I was recruited to CF by a player from HALO CE.But many people don't have Adblock.

If they could look at the game like a 1.6-like fps which is still ongoing and still gets shown attention instead of a "bad graphics" game,then they could stay.I was sick of 1.6's default mode (not custom ones) and having wallers in almost every private server with no admins to ban them and Crossfire was the alternative at that time and I stuck with the game.
IT really depends how new players they look at Crossfire: bad graphics(well compared to 2016 ofc its bad you geniuses) or a game that reminds you of old the times in non-ads fps games. -
It really depends how new players they look at Crossfire.
Well when I started my ping was 5-10 and I had people treating me like a god; that and making some funny arse friends made me stick with the game. Someone who is actually a new player from the UK will probably have a ping 20-40 which isn't really that good and even though there's less hackers that doesn't make up for the state of the community.
That being said it still would be nice to have a wave of new UK players, but I personally don't see any advertising in the UK, at least throughout London. Shame. -
