Katana in GM
As many people know the katana is an extremely heavy weapon when you hold down the right click (stab) button, but in ghost mode the weight is decreased on black list so that it isn't a useless weapon. Today I was using my katana gold on BL and the weight was the same as it is when using it in SND which is VERY HEAVY. Hopefully this bug is fixed because it makes the katana unusable in GM as it is now.

All melee's that have a hold function become heavier while you're holding it. That's part of the game mechanics so that these weapons don't become overpowered. The reason it is lighter in ghostmode is because it would be unusable if it remained as heavy as it is in other modes.

I, more than 99% of crossfire, would gain something if your suggestion was implemented because I have a permanent katana, however, I don't think that there is anything wrong with the way it is now. If you can run full speed with a katana held ready you would have so much more of an advantage over any other player in knife only matches as long as you even have half decent aim. That'd be broken so I can't advocate for it. -

How is that selfish? Its been light in GM as BL since as far as I can remember. It recently changed to the normal weight in GM BL.
Op: I THINK it was never intended to be light in, GM and it was fixed 3 months ago to normal weight. Will confirm when I get time cuz 5 am shift op! -

Can you ask them to un-fix it then? Really makes it a pain in the butt to use now.

Unfortunate, really. I mean that's what made the 2h weapons like bat and katana actually usable in GM, but now it's just eyecandy for my storage.
If I knew this would happen I never would have even tried to get it...
I swear every time I come back to cf after a few months something gets "fixed" and ruins everything. -

Same with my katana man. I don't even have it equipped anymore because i'll never use it while it's that heavy. -
