That Depends on how aggresively the other Ranked Match Participants are climbing the ladder. And I guess the System deducts points from you for not enough activity. I haven't let it come to the point where I'd get deranked for not playing ranked for 4 Weeks, so I wouldn't really know about how much of a deduction you'd get hit with.

Again, I presume that whole deranking thing depends on how much the others are raising their rank while you are gone.

They've made it a point to not announce the exact season end/begin as to avoid players who only start playing ranked when it is nearly over in order to reap in the rewards, atleast, that's how it was in Season 1.
