Dual Double Barrel

Is it considered to be a real shotgun? I've bought 5 shotguns to unlock the Big Hunter ribbon and Dual Barrel was one of these 5 shotguns.

Maybe you got fixed up between the dual desperados,? because the barrel is a pistol.

Yeah it's a pistol, but it's cateogrized as a shotgun, does it count as a shotgun and a PISTOL as well?

Since when was it categorized as a shotgun? It's been a pistol for as long as I can remember. Therefore it only counts as a pistol.

Dual Desperado > Shotgun

Dual Double Barrel > Pistol

Dual Double Barrels count as a shotgun and not a pistol. Juicebox changed it a while ago.

If you're referring to the Big Game Hunter ribbon, only primary shotguns count. Anything that ends up as a sub weapon, in the secondary slots, doesn't count.

Not to burst your bubble, but a long time ago, juicebox opened up a poll to decide if the community wanted the dual double barrels to count towards the big game hunter ribbon. the community said yes and juicebox changed it, i know i had 5 shotguns including the dual double barrel and i got the ribbon next day after that. i just don't know why all the previous threads got deleted before the new forums got finished.

And while I'm not disregarding what you've mentioned above, I'm telling you what information I have been given. For this ribbon, as far as I am aware, secondary weapons do not count towards the Big Game Hunter Ribbon. If this issue is something that Juice wants to revisit when he comes back, then we can do so then.

Oh ok, i was just going by what happened. i do not know if it still counts but there is at least 5 gp shotguns now without that gun, so it shouldn't be a problem.
