I need HELP and Clan advice, please!!!
I love playing Crossfire. Actually addicted to it. I absolutely love clan battling, love the excitement and teamwork of it all and that is the main reason I started my clan. Also, playing together with the same people all the time, playing together as a team. I love sports/teamwork and clan battling has the same simialarites.
I am the leader of X-men and I’ve had my clan for roughly 6 months. Our max members are 30 right now because I haven’t had the need for more slots. I think we’re at 24 right now and out of those 24, probably 2-3 are serious players. When I say serious I mean they play at least 5 days a week. We do not have Vent yet because the need is not there….yet.
I started this clan for the main reason of clan battling, with a minor in playing together with “friends” of the game, playing with the same people all the time. At first is was easy recruiting when we were ranked 18000 and things were hopping right along, we played a good bit of clan battles, took our lumps but we had 7-8 players that were on all the time. Now 6 months later we’ve hit a wall. We only have 2-3 serious players including myself and we rarely get to clan battle because we aren’t on at the same time. So I’ve been recruiting really hard the last 2 weeks trying to get players of all skill level, just to get some fresh meat. I’m having little to NO success at it. I’ve tried the forum, I’ve tried in game recruiting…..nothing.
I would like to hear from any and all Clan Leaders with ideas/suggestions on how to recruit, how to make a better more appealing clan, how to keep a clan fresh, how to make a clan successful. I’m not trying to be #1, I don’t really care about rankings to be honest with you…down the road I’m sure we would enter some tournaments but that’s down the road. I really just want . btw, “paying” people ZP to be in my clan is not an option. I’m not THAT hardcore about it.
I would like to hear from the “newer” players at why you chose the clan ur in now.
I would like to hear form people that aren’t in a clan and the reasons why?
Any and all thoughts or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

I'm the leader of Paradox and personally if you are going to make a clan and it's not a scrim clan it's going to be difficult picking up members. I say you should join an already established clan progress as a player, then once you get good and make some friends in that clan, take them to your new clan perhaps a scrim clan or whatever.

Im the leader of EnabLed. We use vent everytime we scrim because he it helps out when calling strats or saying were the enemy planted to bomb and stuff like that. New clans are hard to get started because most good player are allready taken and there are a ton of clans that are active and scrimming.

For recuirting: Make some "mac's" and about every game throw them out. So ppl will be like "oh X-men is recuirting". 2. Keep trying on the forum's.
Keeping your clan fresh and fun: I suggest "inner clan battle's". 2nd. Kick all your inactive ppl. Maybe do a "2week's of inactive = kick"
Vent: Pm me and i'll let u guy's hang out in our's.
Finally: Starting a clan from the bottom up is hard. Just keep working, and u will be on your way in no time.

dont give, its hard yes but also ask what ur players think,,,,IN LB we had two players one that was really really good, but they spammed our vent, they left and four others followed. me iseeu drb stif baggs faytl condemmed, mike, storm told ppl that LB is not over, its just starting lol and we are right, every clan has its hard times, vent would help in recruiting good players, and it makes it nice to talk to your friends. that clan leader before this also told you the truth about strats and where they are which makes it easier for scrims. They are right also in pubs play your best and hit those macros. it does not matter if u started this now or back when it first started, nothing is easy leading a clan, players change, maps change, its call adapt and over come but never do it alone, do it with the members that are true and loyal to the clan. LB is a little different than most clans, im listed as clan leader, but the reality of LB is there is more than one, a design that worked very well, for 6 years now. for leaders have many ideas a leader has one. so you should ask your players after all with out them, there is no clan. -

I apologize for my lack of CF lingo. I play mostly PS3 sports games, throw in Call of Duty every once in a while. ...but Crossfire is the first and only online FPS game Ive ever played. So I'm a noob in that regard.

Merge is basically u take u and ur clan members to the clan thats wants to merge with you or u have a clan bring them and their clan members to ur clan. yes pub is basically public rooms. Read my pm i sent you and replay when ya can. -

Ive tried and tried to have a pub room called "Join X-men today..." and various other versiions with not a whole lot of luck as it usually fills up with ppl already IN a clan, which i dont underatand. I like thi sidea, thank you very much for this suggestion, I'll let you know how it goes.
