Z8, get your stuff together
1. "Save the replay and report the hacker"
How are we supposed to report them if, even after pressing "SAVE" at the end of the game, the replay doesn't exist? It's like we never played together. This happens way to often in CW / Ranked matcher against high ranked hackers with 559831 VIP items. Those hackers just keep on hacking, as no one can even SAVE the report, so he can't send any evidence through the hacking report system. Because it's awful
2. After 3 months of waiting for you to review my hack reports, I sent you a ticket and asked if you have lost my reports. You replied with "...Please resubmit your hacking reports..."
Great!! After 3 months of waiting, I had to ASK YOU if I should resubmit my reports, instead of you informing me that you have lost/skipped/ignored my reports. Another proof that your anti-hacking measures are awful.
Even if we send you our hacking reports, this is your usual response:
PLAYERS: Hey Z8, here is a hacking report with evidence of a player using hacks. It would be great to see him get banned!
Z8: for you, here is a new ZP crate and 25% discount on ZP!!!

I've personally have yet to encounter an instance where my Replay wasn't saved when I told it to save.
As for them not apparently not reading your tickets, I hardly can comment on that as the experience with the support seem to varying to quite some degree.
I haven't had much problem with em'. The few Hackers which I did see got banned.
Other than that, it's been said multiple times that they wouldn't confirm your Hacking Reports. You can't really know if they banned someone or not other than encountering the dude you've reported again by sheer coincidence. -

I know that they have no intention of informing us if they even reviewed the report, which is completely WRONG.
But still, something tells me that these hackers are still playing:

ikr, that's only one of the issues -
When it comes to reports, it's just a bug a** joke.
Reporting = wasting your time.
So far, all I did, was waste time by sending reports. I hope it changes one dayLastNameRich wrote: »I've never had a replay disappear after clicking save
It's a silly situation. It doesn't happen often, but it's really annoying.
*join a cw*
*their team says "we're gonna win 10:0" *
*we're like "sure, bring it on" *
*game starts, we win first round*
*they call us "hackers" *
*one member of their team, usually a marshal with a lot of shiny guns, starts using various hacks*
*we stay in the game, just to save the replay and report him*
*game finishes, we press "save" *
*it all ends with none of us having the replay in our replay folders* -

This. Its not a known issue on our end that replays aren't saving. Make sure you have the replay option enabled, and don't run anything in the background that may interfere, and you shouldn't have any issues.
Regarding you knowing how the hacking report went, that has been, is, and always will be confidential information. If you need to know that somebody was banned as a result of your report, you will know. As it stand right now, you do not need to know. I will also note that the honorable soldier ribbon is not a reliable means of determining if someone was banned or not. There are times where a player may be banned and still retain that ribbon as an oversight. However, we are working towards fixing this oversight. I'm going to leave this thread open for civil discussion over this, but I will remind those present that censor bypassing does grant you an infraction. -

oh gosh please stop obsessively searching what to get caught on & you can't distribute inferactions for every tiny thing.
OT: It would be nice on their part if they could share the final decision with the users who report (such as if the player they have reported get banned or not) so the legit users would know they're not wasting their precious time by reporting the hackers -

Part of my job is handing out those infractions when I feel they are needed. I will never stop that, and that is not up for discussion.
For your second bit, as stated above and countless times before, we will not share that information. Operate on the assumption that you aren't wasting you 'precious time' as you put it, as the reports are indeed reviewed. -
I saved 2 replays on Ranked Matches. But i couldn't watch them for some reason. I wonder if the staff could see them after I reported?
One of the hackers is still not banned after I reported him last week. Idk about the other though.[GM]Kanadian wrote: »Part of my job is handing out those infractions when I feel they are needed. I will never stop that, and that is not up for discussion.

What about my question? -

actually I wanted to say to stop distribute inferactions to Natt and not to you (since you never inferacted me so you're fine) but I think the message been received[GM]Kanadian wrote: »For your second bit, as stated above and countless times before, we will not share that information. I'm pretty sure that I've sent a ticket about that couple years ago, but okay, now you DO know about this issue. I had the save replay option enabled, as I clicked "save". Only program I had running, next to crossfire, is Winamp. I'm pretty sure winamp isn't causing this to happen, as I had this issue even without winamp running.
If you take a closer look to the picture which I have posted, you will notice that they were last seen active a day ago. That sounds like they aren't banned, yet.
And thanks for an infraction. I learned my lesson. Writing four apostrophes in a row is very rude
-
If you write a bunch of these *** characters you also risk getting an infraction for "bypassing" Lmao.lostinforest wrote: »And thanks for an infraction. I learned my lesson. Writing four apostrophes in a row is very rude
Ot: I think if you spend your own time making crossfire a better place by reporting hackers you should ATLEAST have the right to know if the person got banned yes/no.
Getting this kind of confirmation will only motivate people to report hackers since they know if what they are doing is actually working.
I mean its not our responsibility to keep this game clean right? -

Did suggest this before, I really think that this would be a good idea.
I know it's because privacy rules etc. but at the end, he hacked & we reported. It will also stop rumors in cf self within the players, when the gm says. he is legit.
But yeah, too much stuff going on. -

Why wont you share the information? if a hacker gets caught he deserve to be shamed, Also I would love to know what happen to my 8 Reports that are open and all of the have proof of people speeding/botting and w.e ****ing stupid thing hackers can find. -

Agreed, you took the words off my mouth. It's things like this Z8 need to improve upon if they want to keep a healthy number of players continuing to play their game with motivation/tranquillity. -
No. We need to get rid of X-trap, cuz its useless. X-trap never stop any hack it seems. Rofl. Another AC will only help us.
It doesn't work like that, you can't just get rid of the ac. CFNA is on a contract with WiseLogic (xtrap) once this contract runs out then they can choose to leave them or continue. But if you actually think about it x-trap is doing their job, its just the hacks update constantly and the only way to patch it is to manually input the coding in since its not a bot doing it. -

Ik they have a contact with them etc... but x-trap never did a good job... ofcourse the hack keeps updating everytime.. but x-trap doesnt stop it either -_- -
