Disconnecting from server and losing rank?

So im just chilling playing ranked and boom cf decides to be a piece of crap, and dc's me okay, but then I open it back up and it counts as left game?? wtf kinda stupid just whatever, I expect this to get fixed, if the game itself can't stay open and wants to dc why do i get punished for it?

It's quite the conundrum, really.

Either you punish anyone and everyone for DCing, no matter the circumstance, or you don't, and you'll see people abuse it, and see folks complain about it not punishing those who DC on purpose.

Pick your poison, I guess.

(A solution might be to just not let it DC you whenever it feels like it, but CrossFire hasn't been exactly known for being the most stable game in the shed.)
