Installer not popping up

I download Crossfire and when the installer which is like 2 MB is done I press on it and it never opens it. Need help thnx.

Did you run it as Admin?

There is no run as Admin when I right click it.

There is always a problem with CF then I gotta quit for like 4-5 months then come back to it. It's a hassle every time when I really start getting into it.

Are you sure you pressed on it? Try it on different browser! That will most likely will fix the problem!

Yeah tried it on Firefox and Chrome it still the same.

I think something up with my pc I tried downloading something and it's not also opening.

Never mind I download couple stuff and they work only Crossfire doesn't seem to wanna open.

Have you tried to clearing your browsing history and cache?

Have you tried turning AVG off and then downloading/installing it?

If AVG is seeing it as a false positive it'll wipe it before it can do anything

I restored system like 3 weeks back to when CF was fine and now when i press play on launcher it says failed to load url version.ini error message.

I looked online some people CF folder got version.ini but mine only has version I can't seem to have version.ini.

^^^ Did you try this, it sounds like something is getting rid of the files you need before you can access them...

Okay I will.

I turned of my AVG and firewall to try download it finishes the download of installer but when I try to open it nothing.

Are you saying that you tried to open the installer however, nothing happens? If so, you might need to open the installer as Admin?

Or are you suggesting that after you download it from the website, nothing happens? If so, why don't you locate where it has been downloaded and try to open it from there?

Once I download it off the site, the installer it finishes but when I press on it never opens up. Should I download it on another pc and transfer it to my main pc?

Yeah that could work if you have another pc.

It's working on my laptop, will it work if I finish the whole download on laptop and put in on a USB and play it on my desktop?

I'm not too sure. I don't know anyone who tried it. Why don't you transfer the CF installer to your pc and then install it from there?

I will try to use google one drive to send CF files since my USB can't hold it all, last resort.

Are you sure that you got enough space to download CrossFire? Also try saving it to the Desktop. If that does not work then try saving it somewhere else. e.g. You program files folder.

Not worked. I tried saving somewhere else nothing same result. Taking forever for google one drive to finish with CF.

If you know any program like one drive maybe you can send me your CF files. x.x

Seems like it's working now what I didn't do before was, I just had the installer alone not with the Crossfire_Setup-1.bin Crossfire_Setup-2.bin Crossfire_Setup-3.bin once I uploaded these three files with the installer it works.
