I dunno I've literally tried everything to install this game and to make it work.

I've disabled the firewall
I've disabled the anti virus
I've then downloaded the downloader
I've installed the game and ran it as admin

I've looked at all of the possible solutions to fix this and it still doesn't work.

How do you expect someone who wants to play this game if it doesn't even install right and they have to disable a bunch of things in order for it to maybe work...

Beyond frustrated. I just wanted to come back to game I used to love.

Can you post a screenshot of the error you're experiencing, please? It might help for figuring out whats wrong.

When did you download the installer, and did you have any connection issues while it was downloading?

No not at all. I download the game fairly quickly like under 5 mins.

Does me dual booting on mac have any issues with this?
I have Windows 8 on my mac

Ahh that might be why. CF generally doesn't support Mac. So while it might be possible to run it on a Mac with some programs, we can't really do support for it. That being said, if any players run on Mac's maybe they'll be able to help you out with the issue.

I mean I am running the Windows OS and everything works just fine on it
