  • Frist of all, I would suggest to try adding CrossFire to your Exceptions list on your Anti-virus. You could also try to run CrossFire as Admin. Also make sure you don't any unnecessary programs in the background which is running while CrossFire is open. e.g. Rapt

    If that does not work for you then could try to Re-install CrossFire. Please follow the following steps:

    1. - Control Panel -> Z8Games -> CrossFire -> Uninstall CrossFire
    2. - Open Up My Computer
    3. - Delete the CF directory (Program Files/Z8Games/CrossFire/)
    4. - Disable your anti virus
    5. - Download the newest client from our downloads site
    6. - Install the game from the new download
    7. - Add the entire crossfire folder to your antivirus exceptions
    8. - Re-enable realtime protection

    Once you have done this, start CrossFire again and see if the problem has been fixed. Please let me know if it has worked for you or not.
  • I have completely uninstalled crossfire and reinstalled, added crossfire to my exclusions list and the problem keeps occuring.

    Do you happen to have any other programs/processes running that may affect crossfire?

    Your RAM could be low. How many gbs is your RAM?
  • I think this is due to a new security update on Windows (10)
    at least that's what happened to me, the CF was constantly "going down", I uninstalled the new update and returned to give all right ...
    her number is KB3147458

    then tells resolved
