Corrupted files(PLS HELP)

Hey guys, everytime i try to install crossfire it passes the download but when the installation starts the .rez files gets corrupted, i've tried to click retry but they keep corrutping. i also aborted the install 10 times and retrying but still ends up with the rez file corrupted. PLS HELP

Have you tried adding the whole crossfire folder to your antiviruses exceptions?

No, but will try after i delete the whole z8 file and redownloading the game

This usually happens sometimes. Try at a later time with Dave's suggestion and see if it will work.

Try redownloading it, and change version's for the patch. Meaning don't worry about rez, just download the game and change version to the latest.

Hey i tried adding the z8 games file to my antiviruses exceptions but still get the .rez corrupted file errors, also redownloading did not work, Should i keep skipping all the corrupted .rez files until the installation finishes??

Hey webeast, i dont quite understand what you mean, can you explain it in greater detail??

Usually this type of problem can stem from it mucking up once and then the bad files still being in place and not replaced when re-downloaded.
If we are allowed to suggest programs: go download iobit uninstaller - uninstall crossfire and then run its powerful scan feature. This will completely get rid of any file with CF including registry files.

Next: delete the installer you have for CF if its in your download folders and re-download the client from this website (by this i mean the z8 website of course).
This should take care of the problem

Hey soi_lang i've already removed all of CF's file including the registry files, i'll try redownloading everything and come tell you if it works.
