Game opens off screen.

Whenever I open CrossFire, it goes into fullscreen mode and turns black. Then it miraculously goes off screen. I don't see anyway to fix this so can you please help. I've gone as far as trying to reinstall my operating system (Windows 10 Home) and reinstalling CrossFire but nothing works. Please help a brother out!

It seems quite a few people have this problem. You can fix it by starting the game in window mode. To do that, follow what my Quote is saying.

Go to Documents/CrossFire and seek out a file called "system.dat"

Open it with an Editor of your choice.

Then change the value that i marked to a "1"

What that value does is set you to Windowed mode, so that you can actually see all the buttons. Hope it helps!
