Quick Note: It is a content update like any other we had before, except that its core content is rather specific. Granted, there are few permanent changes, like the new menu interface design, but the rest will be simply added on top of all the previous stuff we had. No new account or specs upgrade required, etc. If you can play any of the maps that currently features a quality slider (Arctic Base, Soldier Farm, etc), then you will definitely be able to play on the new 2.0 maps as well!

I did tell you all that we were getting CF2.0 soon!
I was pretty sure we would be getting it as well :P Really hope to get the VIP chars with the update though! Xmas vacations coming soon so I'll have quite a lot of time to review the new content

As mentioned by some, it is just a content update like the rest, but 2.0's core content is rather specific. Point is, you can still play with your current account no problem, additionally, already existing accounts will get to choose one of the 2.0 characters, for free (can't complain about a free character, even if it's still gp). -

Why do you think that you are going to have to say goodbye to Custom Killmarks/Badges/Sounds/Ranks?
It's a mere content update. The way this game is built stays the exact same.
